About Magical Stage

Hello everyone, welcome to Magical Stage. A website dedicated to things that move, though that mostly means that this website is going to be talking about animation, specifically anime (if you thought this website was about international haulage companies, this isn’t it).

The main aim of Magical Stage is to be a platform for lighthearted anime writing and to be a place where friends can write cool stuff too. If you’ve ever seen Ojamajo Doremi then you’ll probably know that the Magical Stage is when you come together to make something amazing happen!

This website will be the host of the long running satirical Definitive Anime Review series of articles, which chronicles the adventures of a journalist writing up 100% truthful and excellent stuff about the anime industry. There will also be some less satirical stuff too, including deep dives into anime staff, timeslots and other random stuff that might be oddly interesting.

Who’s Masuko Mii?

Masuko Mii (増子美依) is an ace witch journalist and Magical Stage’s mascot character! She gets up to all sorts of mischief in order to do the finest journalism in both the Witch World and the Human World!

She was designed by ani, an animator who has worked in loads of anime you might have watched like Wonder Egg Priority and Bocchi The Rock! We couldn’t have asked for a better mascot for our wonderful site!

Can I have an article on Magical Stage?

Yes you can! Magical Stage is a place to host loads of ideas and articles about anime! If you’ve got something that you want to get out there that you’d think would be great on this website, do let the site owner, buildknuckle, know on BlueSky or via Discord.
